Talented Filmmaker Max Sappa!

February 3, 2016

I really admire Max's work:  Smart directing of stories with surprising twists and turns!

You will enjoy "8 Ships on Your Shelter" - it's a must-see:

Also a favorite of mine:  "Happy Birthday, My Dear" -

Massimiliano Sappa's bio:

"Massimiliano Sappa holds a BA degree in Cinematics Film Studies, which he

obtained in London in 2005. In the last few years, he has refined the craft by

working on personal and professional projects between London and

Australia. He has been lucky enough to work with high calibre people such as

Peter Faiman (director of 'Crocodile Dundee') and along the way met the likes

of Mark Turnbull (Executive Producer of 'Two Hands' starring Heath Ledger ).

Right now, Massimiliano works as an editor for ABC Australia on a number of

shows. He strongly believe that to be an effective writer-director, one has to

perfect the art of cutting. The sense of pace, rhythm and flow are invaluable

tools to understand the mechanics of storytelling."

Now, two of my concepts/videos are on Amazon Studios (a branch of Amazon which produces Film and TV content) and need your reviews and/or just plain plays really. See below: - "Runners" (TV Series or Feature Comedy): In a world dominated by production companies and evil producers only the runners (AKA production assistant AKA set runner etc), a maverick group of brave hearts, stands against them in a fight to the last frothy latte. - "Respect 101" (TV Series or Feature Thriller): Kids today lack sympathy, love for their neighbors and just general manners. Jack Brimmer is a retired ER doctor who has had enough. At night he becomes a ‘respect teacher’ at Respect 101, the only academy where you learn or you die.
Would you like to see the above developed as TV or Film concepts? If yes, please write something; otherwise just view the material, it will be still amazing - yes, amazing.
Thank you very much in advance.
Yours always very grateful,
Massimiliano (Max) Sappa

"The film industry is about saying 'no' to people, and inherently you cannot take 'no' for an answer."- James Cameron
